The Rouse Avenue Court on Friday extended the ED custody period of AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan by three more days in the money laundering case. Special Judge Vishal Gogne passed the order on an application filed by the central investigating agency, seeking Khan’s custody for 10 more days. The judge said that the custody has been extended by three days. The accused will have to appear on September 9. Khan was produced in the court on the expiry of the four-day Enforcement Directorate custody period given earlier. Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party staged a strong protest outside the BJP office against the arrest of MLA Amanatullah Khan.
